Audionamix is an innovative technology company involved in the cutting edge field of signal processing. It has developed the first and only technology capable of reverse engineering a monophonic or stereophonic recording into its multi-track components essentially extracting and separating voice or music from the original mix.
Reviving Old Assets
A common request Audionamix has received from record labels and publishers is the need for instrumental tracks of older songs, as it was not protocol to have masters delivered this way until recent years. The music industry realizes how many licensing opportunities are missed because they cannot provide an instrumental track to the buyer, and until now no one was able to do it. Audionamix Can!
Studios and television networks experience a similar problem. When an older TV show is set for release either on DVD, Internet streaming, or for sale in foreign territories, often the music licenses have either expired or are cost prohibitive. Audionamix can now effectively address this formerly unsolvable problem, offering an alternative to the costly and time-consuming activity of re-licensing agreements.
With a strong commitment to find creative and innovative solutions for the most complex music challenges, Audionamix is at the forefront of providing specialized technologies. Its product tool kit allows for the manipulation of audio elements so that assets can be re-purposed for new applications. Audionamix's solution provides composers, sound mixers, engineers, music editors and music supervisors the ability to access certain vocal or instrumental stems from a composite mix, thereby giving our clients the ability to monetize dormant assets.
Audionamix's patented technology was used in the Oscar-winning movies "La Vie en Rose" and "Inception", in the blockbuster "Sucker Punch", and applied to create new 5.1 versions of Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" and Dame Vera Lynn's latest album.
Major movies studios, including CBS and Universal, currently work with Audionamix to revive their back-catalogues.
Audionamix's current offerings include:
Music Disassociation: The removal of licensed music from a mixed movie or TV show.
• Licensed music makes movies or shows expensive to sell to foreign markets.
• Removing the music enables Majors to sell the movies or shows that were, until now, blocked from release.
Instrumental Creation: The ability to remove the lead vocals from a song, leaving the music undamaged for commercial use.
• Record companies and publishers need instrumentals when they license music to Advertising agencies, TV and Movie producers.
Voice/Instrumental Extraction: The ability to isolate and preserve the vocals or a particular instrument from a mixed song.
• Isolated voice/instrument extractions are utilised to give liberty to content owners to express their creativity.
Stem Separation: The ability to isolate and preserve all the musical components of an original mix.
• Isolated stems are needed to repurpose iconic content, creating new versions and commercial revenues as well as enhanced surround versions
• Used by creative entities in the entertainment industry for previously unreleased catalogue material, song remixes and mash-ups, integration in new movies and shows.
