ToLuna, initially known as Cjudge Limited, listed on the London Stock Exchange in May 2005. It is now the largest independent provider of online solutions and services to the global market research industry, with a client list that includes some of the world’s leading companies. Each year it completes 10 million surveys for clients.
Internet-based surveys are quicker, more efficient and highly focused than traditional research tools, and are therefore more valuable to clients. The online sector of market research has been growing much more rapidly than the industry as a whole. ToLuna is well placed to meet this demand.
ToLuna has expanded both organically and by carefully targeted acquisitions. In July 2009 it concluded the acquisition of the Internet Surveys Solutions division of Greenfield Online from Microsoft Corporation, giving ToLuna a world class global platform.
ToLuna provides:
Access to its online panels with over 4m active members across 42 countries. These include 16 specialist panel communities covering sectors such as consumer, healthcare and B2B.
Proven expertise in creating tailor-made panels for or on behalf of clients.
The group offers several panel services to its customers:
| • | Full Sample Service involves programming and hosting a survey for a client; and
| | • | Sample Only Service where the client has access toToluna's panel. |
ToLuna has also developed its own proprietary data collection technology:
| • | Automatesurvey - an application for market research and panel management which offers the ability to create, distribute and report results from questionnaires, in order to conduct online telephone surveys using the internet.
QuickSurveys – enables clients to ask one to five questions and receive 1,000 responses within a few hours
| | • | PanelPortal - provides the ability to manage panellist acquisitions and relationships through customised web portals. |
ToLuna licenses its proprietary hosted technology solutions to clients who wish to conduct their own targeted surveys, opinion polls or random sample surveys.
