We differ from other venture capital funds in one crucial respect. On flotation, our Chief Executive invested £2 million of his own money on the same terms as all other shareholders. We are not aware of any other fund where the fortunes of shareholders are so linked to that of the key decision maker. We believe this 'captain of the ship' mentality separates us from other funds. Richard Bernstein owns 9.1% of the company.

Our investment approach is also designed to allow synergy between investee companies in order to gain networking benefits. This enables our investee companies to focus on what they do best - developing their business and servicing the customer.
